He is Frost Harbor’s most reckless hockey star. She is the one woman who refuses to let him charm his way out of the penalty box.
After one public mistake too many, Wolves right winger Luca Moretti is ordered to help restore Calder Street’s storm-damaged community rink. His new assignment comes with strict rules, relentless scrutiny—and Harper Quinn, the brilliant preservation architect who sees straight through his bad-boy grin.
Harper has fought too hard for this project to let an arrogant athlete turn it into another publicity stunt. But when a blizzard traps them inside the rink overnight, irritation ignites into an unforgettable kiss. Forced to work side by side, they discover that Luca is more capable than his reputation suggests—and Harper’s carefully protected heart is not as untouchable as she believes.
Then Luca makes a choice that puts Harper’s career and the rink’s future at risk. Winning her will take more than charm, chemistry, or a spectacular night on the ice. He will have to prove that the man beneath the headlines is finally ready to take responsibility—and that some penalties are worth serving for love.
