Some memories were never meant to be remembered.

When Elara receives a mysterious invitation to a masquerade ball at the Mansion of Secrets, curiosity draws her to an estate that appears beneath a blood-red moon.

The mansion shouldn't exist.

But the invitation knows her name.

Inside, masked guests drift through glittering rooms beneath chandeliers and candlelight. Music fills the ballroom, mirrors show faces that don't belong to the people standing before them, and no one seems willing to explain what happens when the masquerade ends.

Then Elara puts on her mask.

Almost immediately, memories begin flooding her mind. A childhood she never lived. Faces she has never known. Moments of fear, happiness, and loss belonging to strangers who walked through the mansion long before her.

And with every memory she gains, one of her own begins to disappear.

Soon the mask refuses to come off. The mansion shifts around her, the guests seem less like visitors than prisoners, and Elara discovers that the masquerade has been repeating for generations. Its masks don't simply hide identities.

They collect them.

As Elara's memories fade, she must uncover the truth behind the first mask and the forgotten souls bound to the mansion before she can no longer remember the life she is trying to return to.

But escaping the masquerade may require a sacrifice more terrifying than remaining trapped inside it.

Because when a place is built from stolen memories, destroying its curse could mean losing the one thing Elara is fighting desperately to save:

herself.
