The Dragon Girl Sleeping in My Room

Twenty-year-old Loric has built his life around quiet routines: attending university, working at a bookshop, and avoiding anything that might disturb his carefully ordered world. Everything changes when he returns home one rainy night and discovers an injured girl asleep in his bed.

Vela is beautiful, mysterious, and anything but human. With amber eyes, supernatural healing abilities, and a strange connection to fire and wind, she reveals that she belongs to an ancient people of the wyrm—a race Loric can only describe as dragons.

As Vela recovers in his small apartment, Loric's ordinary life becomes increasingly extraordinary. He learns about her strange customs, her enormous appetite, her fascination with shiny objects, and the loneliness she has carried from a world far beyond his own. With the help of his skeptical but loyal friend Marek, Loric begins to protect Vela while trying to understand why she crossed into the human world—and why she is being hunted.

What begins as an impossible encounter gradually develops into an emotional bond between two people from completely different worlds. But Vela's arrival is only the beginning. The secrets surrounding her past and the people searching for her threaten to pull Loric into a conflict far larger than his quiet life ever prepared him for.
