Two strangers meet at a crossroads

On a mundane, rainy Saturday morning,

And ask the oldest questions known to man —

How do we find meaning in existence?

What defines the dividing lines between

mercy and malice, love and hate,

suffering and solace, life and death?

Is humanity truly a miraculous machine,

Or simply a curse of the cosmos?
