Janey Morrison thought she knew what was missing from her marriage. Then her husband sat her down at the kitchen table.
With a birthday wish that lets her turn private fantasies into reality, Janey has been exploring a life she once only imagined. She's bolder now, more demanding, and increasingly certain that excitement is something she'll have to find beyond her marriage.
But her husband's unexpected confession changes her understanding of the distance between them. What she took for indifference has been hiding a struggle he was too ashamed to share. And the conversation doesn't end with his confession. He has a proposal, one Janey never expected from the man she married.
Now the woman who can make others forget must decide what she wants them to experience together.
In this installment of The Birthday Wish Chronicles, secret adventures meet the complications of lasting love as Janey and her husband take their first steps towards an unconventional future.
