Are you ready for the ride?

It's 1948 in the American metropolis of New Paris—a city teetering on the edge—in a story written in classic pulp fiction style.

A crazed slasher is carving a path through one side of town. On the other, a masked vigilante deals out his own brand of justice. Caught square in the middle—private detective Max Weatherbee.

For Max, this isn't just another case. The murders are stacking up—and they're hitting close to home.

A secretive cult—The Last Light—steps forward, claiming pieces of the bloodshed. Their message is cryptic. Their reach, unknown. Their purpose… far from over.

The lines between hunter and hunted blur. Every lead pulls Max deeper into a web of violence, secrets, and something far more sinister than he expected.

This won't be just his toughest case—it may be his last.

And when it's over… New Paris won't recognize itself.
