Taryn Briggs is twenty-nine and back in Maple Hollow for one job: run the town hayride and get out before the festival turns her into a local again.

The driver is Reid Holcomb. Thirty-two. Fire chief. The same mouth she wanted to hit in eleventh grade.

The last family steps off at the green. The wagon should turn east for the barn. Reid takes the dark edge of the lawn instead.

Hay on the boards. Lantern gold on his jacket. A service lane with no clipboard left to hide behind.

She can walk. She stays.

What happens after the last ticket is punched does not belong to the town.

Hayride After Dark is Book 2 of Maple Hollow, a standalone couple, explicit consensual romance. Adults only.
