MIMIC: ICE RIFT – PREQUEL is a dark science-fiction adventure filled with alien predators, strange ecosystems and a relentless nonhuman protagonist. Discover the origins of the creature that began the nightmare in the bestselling Ice Rift series.
Before the ice. Before the terror. Before humanity knew her name.
On a savage world, survival belongs to the strongest, the fastest and the most adaptable.
Mimic is all three.

I have received many requests from readers of my Ice Rift series for a book asking for more about Mimic and detailing what happened aboard the spaceship. What led the crew to abandon it and ultimately crash on Earth. This also includes the events leading up to the captain's death.
Here, then, is part one of that story..
It begins on Planet DX-731 and ends with Mimic stowing away on the spaceship.
