Dolly Thompson is tired of waiting.

Tired of watching everyone around her find love while she wonders when it will finally be her turn.

But when desperation starts making red flags look like answered prayers, Dolly learns that getting what you asked for can come with a price.

Funny, faith-filled, chaotic, and painfully relatable, Desperate Plus Tax is a reminder that sometimes waiting a little longer is cheaper than paying the price for rushing ahead.
