Paul grew up steeped in his family's quiet acts of grace in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa — but nothing prepares him for the year that reshapes his life. When grief sends him overseas in search of purpose, he finds unlikely companions along the way: a ninety-year-old missionary in Florence, a warm South African family transplanted to the vineyards of Tuscany, and, in a chance airport encounter, a strong-willed traveler named Jenna.

What begins as a shared coffee and a stolen conversation becomes a friendship tested by distance and loss — until fate draws them back together, first beneath a canopy of white clouds in Norway, then along the sun-drenched cliffs of the Greek islands. A Loving Dream is a tender, wandering love story about family, faith, healing, and the quiet miracle of finding someone who feels like home in the most unexpected corners of the world.
