When a nervous young drifter rides into Dodge City, Marshal Matt Dillon senses trouble isn't far behind. The boy claims he's just passing through — but his name, Billy Torrance, carries a dangerous legacy: son of Jake Torrance, one of the most ruthless outlaws Dodge ever saw.

Now Jake's old gang has come calling, convinced Billy knows where his father hid a fortune in stolen money. With a score to settle and no mercy in their hearts, they're ready to tear Dodge apart to get what they want.

But they didn't count on Matt Dillon.

As the gang closes in and the townsfolk hold their breath, Matt stands alone in the dust, determined to protect the boy — and his town — no matter the cost.
