What is the message Christians are actually called to take to the world?

Evangelism is one of the most familiar activities in Christianity, yet it is possible to evangelize without clearly understanding the message God has entrusted to the Church. The Gospel is not merely a warning about sin, an invitation to attend church, or an attempt to persuade people to join a denomination. At its heart is the good news of what God has accomplished for humanity through Jesus Christ.

In What Is the Message of Evangelism?, Sam Royalty presents a Scripture-centered examination of the message believers are called to proclaim. Beginning with the Gospel itself, the book explains why Christ—His death, burial, resurrection, and the salvation God has provided through Him—must remain at the center of evangelism.

The book also addresses an important question: Who is responsible for evangelism? Through careful examination of Scripture, it distinguishes between every believer's responsibility to share the Gospel and the specific ministry office of an evangelist.

Readers will also discover the biblical responsibilities of pastors, the importance of equipping believers for the work of ministry, the relationship between evangelism and pastoral care, and practical guidance for communicating the Gospel to others.

Clear, practical, and rooted in Scripture, this book challenges the Church to know the message, equip the saints, and take the good news of Jesus Christ beyond the pulpit and into homes, communities, workplaces, cities, and nations.
