So she does what she always does. She goes anyway.

All Ulrika Mulberry wants is to be a great alchemist. On graduation day at Al-Revis Academy, her workshop stands empty: no customers, no coin, and a debt she can't repay. The academy taught her to brew, to fight, to bind mana. Nobody taught her how to sell a single potion.

With her mana Uryu on her shoulder, falcros blades on her belt, and the most stubborn plan in the kingdom, Ulrika takes her cauldron on the road. Monster contracts, festival wars, a lady in black, and a king of the mana world who wants her power — she has one year to turn a borrowed shop into the best workshop in the universe, or break the vow she made to herself.

A warm, funny fantasy about failed batches, true friendship, and the difference between being famous and being good. For readers of Legends & Lattes, Can't Spell Treason Without Tea, and The Apothecary Diaries.
