In A Gunshot from the Undergrowth, Holmes and Watson encounter fiends of all colours and stripes. They show their capacity for unravelling crimes large and small as they solve a royal murder plot to avoid an international incident, and foil an attempt to stop a local hunt. These stories follow Holmes from his youth to his maturity and even showcase how he interacts with one of the greatest of lady detectives.
