Lishan, a 25-year-old food delivery rider in Yishun, Singapore, is raising her 7-year-old sister Lirong alone after their parents' and grandfather's deaths, scraping by between debts, a loan shark, and their aging HDB flat. Her life upends when she finds an unconscious stranger by Yishun Dam . She takes him in without knowing who he really is.

James is secretly Fu Zheng Kai, heir to the Foo family's billion-dollar empire (FooYu Holdings), deliberately hidden from the public his whole life by his late grandfather to protect him from kidnapping and exploitation. While Singapore's media frenzies over the missing "James Foo," the real one is hiding in a three-room flat, helping run a hawker stall, gaining a found family, and falling in love with the woman who saved him — all while a marriage of convenience (for HDB purposes) quietly becomes real.

This is a slow-burn romance story blending Cinderella-story wish fulfillment, hawker-centre Singapore grit, with a hidden-heir mystery undertone.
