Eleven years ago, she betrayed the man she loved. He went to prison. She disappeared. Neither of them ever said goodbye.

Josette Dupré wore a federal wire inside the Devil’s Tithe Motorcycle Club for one reason: to save her younger brother.

It didn’t save him.

Instead, Amos “Nickel” Rivette—the club’s feared Enforcer and the only man who had ever truly known her—went to federal prison for eleven years, while Joss vanished into another parish beneath a name that wasn’t hers.

But she never completely let him go.

Every month, on the fourth, she sent money to his prison account.

No message. No explanation. Not one word.

And Amos never wrote back.

Now he’s home.

And Joss is back in Malin Pass for the one thing that could have dragged her there: the parish is moving her brother’s grave, and she has nine days to prove it belongs to her before he is relocated without his headstone.

Except someone paid for that beautiful black stone years ago.

Someone who left no name.

And the closer Joss gets to the truth, the more impossible eleven years of silence become to explain.

Because Amos knows things he never told her.

The Devil’s Tithe is asking questions about the federal informant who betrayed them.

And with a hurricane bearing down on the Louisiana coast, old secrets are beginning to surface faster than either of them can bury them.

Joss has spent eleven years believing she destroyed Amos’s life.

Amos has spent eleven years letting her believe it.

Now loving each other again will require something harder than an apology.

It will require the truth.

He Never Wrote Back is an emotionally intense, slow-burn second-chance motorcycle club romance about betrayal, guilt, sacrifice, buried secrets, and two people discovering that forgiveness doesn’t happen once. Sometimes, you choose it a little at a time—and sometimes, the first step is simply finding the courage to finally write back.
