Emily has a plan.
Sell the bookstore she inherited, close the door on Willow Creek, and get back to the life she actually chose.
Unfortunately, Willow Creek has other ideas.
There’s a bookstore cat with opinions, a community that refuses to let the shop disappear quietly, and Charlotte Hayes—the infuriatingly capable woman next door who seems determined to interfere with Emily’s perfectly reasonable escape plan.
Then things get complicated.
A listing turns into local chaos. Bookstore problems become community problems. Hidden letters and old secrets begin surfacing. And every disaster gives Emily another reason to stay—and another excuse to spend time with Charlotte.
The problem isn’t just that Emily is falling for the bookstore.
She might be falling for Charlotte too.
Now Emily has to decide whether the future she planned is worth giving up the place, the people, and the woman who somehow made staying feel more terrifying than leaving.
I Tried To Sell The Bookstore The Lesbians Rioted is a funny, warm slow-burn sapphic romance filled with bookstore chaos, small-town charm, found family, romantic tension, an opinionated cat, and the unexpected discovery that home may be the one thing you can’t put a price on.
