My husband didn't ask me before he hired a professional to fix my body.

For ten years, I’ve been the quiet half of the luxury lifestyle brand we built together. But when Evan decides my body no longer matches the company's polished image for our anniversary campaign, he doesn't talk to me about the distance in our marriage—he hires a professional to handle the problem.

Enter Zara Okafor.

Tall, tattooed, and fiercely principled, Zara doesn't do transformation schemes or calorie-counting. From our first private session at Atlas House, she refuses to let me apologize for existing. She won't cross the line while my husband is paying her contract, but the tension in the gym is undeniable, built on low-voiced commands, heavy lifts, and the way she watches me when she thinks I don't notice.

When I finally leave my empty marriage, the boundary between trainer and client vanishes. The woman who taught me how to take up physical space is more than ready to show me what it means to be truly wanted. But as our private relationship deepens, Evan's discovery of us threatens to destroy Zara's business and my financial future. We have to decide what we are willing to risk to stop hiding.

My Husband Hired Her is a steamy, emotional contemporary Sapphic romance featuring a curvy 41-year-old heroine finding her power, a commanding personal trainer, a late-in-life bisexual awakening, and a hard-earned happily ever after.
