Have you ever wondered what the glory of God actually is — not as a worship phrase, but as a reality scripture describes in specific, visible terms?
The Glory of God is a scripture-grounded study tracing this theme from its first appearance in the Old Testament through to its fullest revelation in Christ and the Holy Spirit. Rather than treating "glory" as a vague spiritual idea, this book examines it the way the Bible itself does: as a visible manifestation of God's majesty, beauty, splendour, and power.
Inside, you'll explore:
The two most common forms glory takes in scripture — fire and cloud — and what each represents, from the burning bush to Pentecost.
The glory of Yahweh Elohim revealed to Moses, and what it means for the Godhead to be described this way.
What happens when glory departs — the sobering account of Ichabod in 1 Samuel — and what happens when it returns in overwhelming power, as at the dedication of Solomon's temple.
Isaiah's temple vision and what an encounter with glory does to those who experience it.
The New Testament shift from glory seen with the eyes to glory experienced through the Holy Spirit, and why every believer today has access to this dimension, whether or not they see visions.
The Holy Spirit's full identity and function as God, and His role as the one who carries and reveals glory in the life of the believer.
Alongside the scriptural teaching, the book includes firsthand testimony from church history — the Welsh Revival, the ministries of Charles Finney and John Wesley — and personal accounts from the author's own years in ministry in Zimbabwe, where the glory of God has visibly moved in congregations, sometimes affecting entire communities at once.
This is not a devotional skimmed for inspiration. It is a careful, scripture-first study meant to deepen understanding and stir a genuine hunger to encounter the glory of God personally — not as something reserved for the past, but as a present reality available in Christ, by the Holy Spirit, to every believer who earnestly seeks it.
