Mike, Belinda, and Ann are packing their bags for yet another thrilling change of scenery. This time, their parents are taking them to live at the beautiful, bustling Buttercup Farm! From the moment they arrive, the children are swept up in the fascinating, hard-working life of the countryside.

Every morning brings a new chore that feels like a wonderful game. The children learn to scatter golden grain for the clucking hens, hunt for freshly laid eggs hidden in the hay, watch the gentle cows being milked, and ride high on the wagons during the busy harvest. Alongside new animal friends and the friendly farmhands, Mike, Belinda, and Ann discover the deep satisfaction of farm life and the magic of watching the seasons change on the land.
