WHY WOULD THE COLOUR OF YOUR EYES GET YOU KILLED?

The needle on Detective Harvey Jamieson's suspicion meter lunges into the red zone when people with unusual green-and-gold irises start dying around the country—most apparently by accident or misadventure. Harvey doesn't believe in coincidence—but he does believe in serial killers. And, despite his partner's doubts, he's convinced they have one on their hands.

Laura King—an investigative journalist based in Los Angeles—returns home to country NSW for a family funeral. Beneath her grief Laura's seething—unable to accept that the fire that destroyed the family home and burnt her mother to death was the 'tragic accident' the police are calling it.

When another 'tragic accident' claims the lives of multiple people close to Laura they land in Harvey's list of suspected victims. Joining forces, Harvey and Laura desperately hunt for the link between the strange eyes and the untimely deaths—and they need to find it before the killer decides to come after them.
