In the eighth Harry Sweet novel, Harry and his partner Shane take on the case of a high school football player who becomes embroiled in a murder and faces life in prison. The evidence against their client is overwhelming, which includes the testimony of an eyewitness. Could he have been a good samaritan who was in the wrong place at the wrong time, or did he have a hidden motive for murder? Even though the case seems to be impossible, Harry and Shane sift through the clues and follow the leads, in the hopes that they can exonerate their client and find the real killer.
