Ironclad

My rival's sister shows up at my clubhouse begging for sanctuary.

I'm supposed to believe Marisol Vane has real information on her brother's dealings, and that she's ready to hand it over just to get free of him.

I don't believe a word of it.

My gut says her brother planted her here to worm her way into our business, and I tell my VP as much.

He's got a different idea.

He wants me to be seen with her all over Redemption Point, let the two of us get photographed together, and make sure those pictures land right on Vane's desk.

Good plan on paper. Except I can't keep my eyes off her.

She's got a mouth that won't quit mouthing off and a body that keeps wrecking my concentration.

I'm the one who's supposed to catch her working an angle against us.

Problem is, I can't tell anymore if she's the threat... or the thing I can't walk away from.
