Jonas went with them willingly. That changes everything.

The impossible craft has vanished, Earth remains wounded, and humanity now knows it is not alone. But the beings surrounding Jonas do not behave like an invading army, and one frightened member of their group runs instead of attacking.

On Earth, Renee and Farah try to understand an enemy that refuses to fit the role humanity has assigned it. On Mars, Calvin Sorensen discovers that Jonas knows details no stranger should know, while the growing settlement struggles to survive without becoming another version of the world it left behind.

Then the mystery reaches beyond another planet.

It reaches into humanity's own future.

Terraforming: Metanoia concludes the two-book speculative science-fiction story begun in Calenture, revealing the connection between Earth, Mars, Jonas, Pavel, and a desperate attempt to change a future that was never as inevitable as anyone believed.
