From the extraordinary imagination of acclaimed writer, Rob Vagle.

There is magic under the earth in the American frontier as accessible as gold. Mages collect the raw magic matter and create tonics and elixirs. Bannerman is a peddler of such goods to make one's life better and safe. But there are elixirs and tonics too powerful and dangerous for mortal beings that bring on death or madness. When Bannerman hears of another peddler selling that dangerous magic in Pratt he follows to save the town and the people he loves.

A fast-paced fantasy short story set in the American frontier West.
