Twelve thousand years ago, beneath the Germuş Mountains, stood a city history does not remember: An-Karru.

War correspondent Idan Turner comes to Göbeklitepe to give meaning to the time his beloved Sally has left. When the clock strikes 8:32, a passage opens, casting Idan twelve thousand years into the past—into the midst of plague, rebellion, the Blood Game, and a forgotten prophecy.
