Fate messed this one up... or did she?

Sarwyn
I'm a bobcat shifter who can't shift, surrounded by a pack of wolves. They took me in as a teenager when my parents were killed in a car accident and I'm grateful, but… Ivan is my fated mate. He mostly ignores me and I can't really blame him. What good am I to the alpha of a wolf pack? When he yells at me to go home instead of meeting strangers, I decide it's time to leave. There's nothing for me here, and waiting isn't going to change anything.

Ivan
I knew the moment I met her that Sarwyn was my fated mate. I was simply waiting for her to grow up and stop showing the signs of a traumatized wolf. As the alpha, I'm supposed to be the smart one, so how did I miss that she's a damn cat shifter? The waiting is over. It's time to protect and claim my mate. No matter how big the danger that comes knocking on the pack doors. She's mine.
