The EMP killed the power.

It did not kill the killer.

I am Ailsa Kincaid, a homicide detective, and my daughter has disappeared in the first hours of the blackout.

No phones. No police backup. No working cars. No civilisation to protect us.

Only a trail left behind by a serial killer who knows exactly how to disappear in a dead Australia.

I have twelve days to find my daughter before he kills her.

And I will cross a country without power to get her back.
