Liam is nineteen years old and has spent a year running — from a controlling, abusive ex, from the system that never wanted him, and from the belief that anyone would ever hold him gently. When Isaac "Iron" Beckett, a forty-four-year-old widower and the Iron & Leather club's master leatherworker, finds him shivering behind a dumpster, he offers the boy something no one has ever offered before: a room, a hot meal, and the freedom to decide for himself.

What begins as shelter becomes something far deeper. Isaac introduces Liam to a world of structure, trust, and carefully negotiated desire — rope that holds instead of traps, a collar that means chosen, a firm hand that means loved. Through their slow, consensual journey, Liam discovers that surrender given freely is a kind of power, and that being known completely can be the safest thing in the world. But when the man who once owned Liam tracks him down, both men must decide what they are willing to risk for a love that refuses to become a cage.

The Things I Let Him Do is a standalone novel in the Iron & Leather MC series. It is a story about a boy who was caged his whole life learning to be free — and the man who holds him, without ever taking his choice away.
