When Oxford scholar Jason Moore and Professor Malcolm Kincade uncover an inexplicable paradox buried in the history of the Revolutionary War, the discovery leaves them no choice: they must intervene.

Thrust back into 1775, Jason and a team of specialists find themselves in a war where the primary weapon isn't a musket—it's history itself. But as they fight to safeguard the birth of a nation, an alternate plan is simultaneously unfolding.

As the mission spirals, the team discovers they aren't the only outside force fighting for the country; they are witnesses to a higher power at work. Can they methodically intervene at the pivotal points in history, or will one wrong move pull the string that unravels everything?
