"A haunting supernatural folklore tale with a deeply romantic heart."

Buried by murder. Trapped by legend. Freed by love.

When twenty-eight-year-old traveller John ventures into the mist-shrouded pine forests of Ziro Valley, he expects a quiet holiday filming a travel documentary. He doesn't expect the haunting call of a beautiful, soft-spoken woman calling his name beneath the starlight.

Her name is Riya. Drawn to her warmth, John believes she is simply a lost tourist—until she vanishes at dawn, leaving behind a trail of whispers that lead to a hidden mountain tribe.

What begins as a tender encounter plunges John into a thirty-year-old cold case of betrayal, tragedy, and ancient Indian folklore. But in a valley where spirits linger and backward-facing feet stalk the dark, Riya isn't looking to take his life.

She needs him to expose the monster who killed her—or remain cursed in the fog forever.
