St. Louis IX was a king who understood that true greatness was not found in earthly power, wealth, or position, but in faithful service to God and others. His life was marked by deep faith, devotion to his family, compassion for the poor, commitment to justice, courage during trials, humility in leadership, and steadfast devotion to the Catholic faith.
