Lydia Vale refuses to surrender her freight station to powerful cattleman Garrick Vane, even after threats, fire, and hired guns descend on Blackridge Wells.

When she discovers a hidden ledger exposing Vane's crooked land deals, bribes, and rustling profits, Lydia becomes the one person standing between him and complete control of the territory. With drifter Orrin Cade at her side, she must rally a frightened town and face Vane's gunmen in a deadly showdown.

In a place where the law has been bought and fear rules the streets, justice will have to come from someone willing to stand her ground.
