Built for experienced special education teachers pursuing National Board Certification in the Early Childhood through Young Adulthood/Exceptional Needs Specialist certificate area, this guide reviews the twelve Exceptional Needs Standards tested on Component 1's computer-based assessment. Because three of the four certification components are portfolio-based rather than exam-based, it also walks candidates through the entry requirements, evidence standards, and commentary-writing demands of Components 2 through 4 — preparation most study guides skip entirely.
Inside: 1,100 selected-response practice questions and 33 constructed-response exercises across 11 full-length simulation exams matching Component 1's exact three-hour format, with every selected-response answer key code-validated for accuracy.
