Judas Iscariot has crossed the First Gate and entered the Crossroads, a mysterious realm connecting countless universes. There, he discovers the City Between Universes, home to the last guardians protecting reality from an ancient force known as the Silence—a terrifying presence capable of erasing entire universes from existence.

As the Silence advances faster than ever before, Judas learns that his arrival is connected to an ancient prophecy. The First Seal, a symbol belonging to the legendary Builder who created the Gates and the Crossroads, has awakened upon Judas and identified him as the one destined to sit upon the Throne of the First Gate.

But the truth is far more disturbing than Judas imagined. The prophecy was written before his birth, before the first Gate, and perhaps before creation itself. Now, as entire realities disappear and the Silence begins invading the Gates from within, Judas must uncover why the Builder knew his name long before he existed.

To save countless universes, Judas must confront the deepest secret of his own existence—and discover whether the man once known as the Betrayer was destined to become the greatest guardian of them all.
